Add a little strategic thinking to your talent and you’re one step closer to freedom.
I recently received a message from a jewelry designer asking, “Am I a Creative Entrepreneur? I make jewelry with my own hands using natural and recycled materials. I don’t make a living doing it, but I’d like to.”
Yes! You are a Creative Entrepreneur.
The term is showing up more often and it seems to mean different things to different people, but the essence is the same: it’s a person who uses their talent and creativity to make money. It’s one thing to write songs, but a Creative Entrepreneur shapes a business model around creating and selling music to sustain their lifestyle.

I asked a popular Ai tool “What is a creative entrepreneur?”
This is what it said:
“In today’s fast-paced, ever-evolving digital landscape, creative entrepreneurs are emerging as the vanguard of innovation. These individuals are not just business owners; they are visionaries who blend creativity with strategic acumen to carve out unique niches in their respective industries.”

That a lot of hype-y words but if you cut through the fluff, creative and strategic are spot on. And with Artists, Artisans, Balancers, and Change Makers, unique is generally just built in.
